The Board of Management, Staff & Students at Castleknock Community College extends its deepest sympathies to the family of our dear colleague Mr Brendan Kelly on his sad passing on Tuesday 15th November after a long illness.

Brendan was a highly valued member of our staff for nearly twenty years. He was also a passionate teacher and was truly committed to the students he encountered whether it was in Room 13 as a Maths teacher or through the many extracurricular programmes he supported over the last two decades.  One such programme being the College’s Traditional Group of which he was a founding member.

In so many ways Brendan gave so generously of his time to the College and played an influential role in the College’s development in its formative years.  As a school we owe a huge debt of gratitude to Brendan and he will be fondly remembered by students, parents and his colleagues

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Brendan’s family, his wife Louise, and his five children: Emily, Alex, Deirdre, Phillip and Shane.

Go ndéanfaidh Dia trócaire ar a anam

Please note that a book of condolences will be available to sign on the afternoon and evening of Tuesday 13th December in the Meditation Room from 5.00p.m. to 7.00p.m. and parents and friends of the College are invited to visit the College to sign the book.
