Awards Ceremonies 2014

On Thursday 15^th & Friday 16^th May, the College acknowledged the contribution, achievement & successes of students with the hosting of our Annual Summer Award Ceremonies for the First, Second, Third & LC1 Year Groups. Presentations were made in the presence of invited parents & guardians to students for their exceptional contribution in the areas of Sport, Music, Art, Culture & Debating.  Spirit of the College Medals and Merit Certificates were also presented to students across each Year Group. Each ceremony concluded with a presentation to a male & female Student of the Year in each of the four groups. In addressing their students, Assistant Principals Anne Brooks, Eoin O’Maoileoin, Gillian Walsh & Padraig O’Gallchobhair emphasised the huge contribution they had made to the life of the College during the past year and how they honoured the College’s core values of courtesy, respect & responsibility as they went about the daily routine of school life. Principal John Cronin and Deputies Carmel O’Neill & John Hopkins congratulated students on their many achievements and expressed their gratitude for the on-going support of parents & guardians.
